Privacy policy
Short version: the tools run in your browser and we do not store what you type. The domain check sends only the domain name to our server, where it is looked up in public DNS and cached for five minutes. We do not log domains against visitors.
What we collect
- Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) kept by our hosting provider for security, for a limited period.
- Aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics with no cookies, if enabled.
- Email you send us, kept to answer it.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. Visitors in the EU and UK are shown a consent prompt before any advertising cookies are set.
Affiliate links
Some links to third-party tools carry a referral code. Clicking one may set a cookie on the third party's site so they can attribute a purchase. It does not share any data with us beyond an anonymous click count.
Your rights
To ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted, email hello@coldmailcheck.com. For most visitors the answer is nothing beyond transient server logs.
